Detailed Description of Goods and Services

The Green Goblin t/a African Bulbs is a business in the agricultural industry. We market flower bulbs.

Prices

All quoted prices are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Additionally, delivery and export charges will be confirmed with you once we have received your order request.

Delivery Policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, we will process your order request within 5 business days.

Once shipped, we will confirm delivery with a courier waybill number.

Export and International Payment Fee

First, an export fee of ZAR 2,000.00 is levied on all international orders.

This fee covers the costs associated with:

  • Obtaining the phytosanitary certificate;
  • Extra plant cleaning required for export.

In addition to the export fee, international payments are subject to the following charges:

  • Bank transfer (EFT): A fee of ZAR 200.00 is levied on payments into our bank account.
  • PayPal: A fee of 10% of the total amount invoiced is levied on payments into our PayPal account.

Therefore, please factor these fees into your total payment amount.

Return and Refunds Policy

We always try to give our customers the best bulbs and stock possible.  

However, we give no warranty – expressed or implied – on the description, quality, or productiveness of any bulbs, tubers, roots, plants, or other products.

All concerns/complaints should be sent to us within 5 working days from receiving your order.

Customer Privacy Policy

African Bulbs takes all reasonable steps to protect your personal information.

For this policy, “personal information” is defined in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

Payment Options Accepted

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Bank Transfer (EFT): Pay directly into our bank account.

For EFT payments, please use your Invoice Number as the payment reference.

Your order will not be shipped until we receive proof of payment or the funds have cleared in our account.

Also, all EFT payments must be made within 1 week of receiving the final invoice.

If we do not receive payment within that time, we will cancel the order.

Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency

The merchant outlet country is South Africa.

Similarly, all transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

African Bulbs takes full responsibility for all aspects relating to your transaction.

This includes:

  • Sale of goods on this website;
  • Customer service and support;
  • Dispute resolution;
  • Delivery of goods.

Country of Domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa.

For all legal purposes, African Bulbs chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi:

Variation

African Bulbs may change this agreement – or any part of it – at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to do so at our sole discretion.
